The Junior Run starts in the same place as the 10k run and the Maraton of the North at the Stadium of Light. The course is flat and crosses the Monkwearmouth Bridge into the City Centre and back again, finishing in front of the big crowds and runners waiting back at the stadium to cheer you on.
Entry fee is just £6 and the race starts at 9.30am.
It’s a great chance for children and young people to join in with the fun on the day and get the whole family moving and active. So come on, find out who’s the best runner out of your friends or family.
