New work clubs - launching at a Children's Centre near you...
We’re working with Sunderland City Council and the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) to launch new work clubs across the city. If you’re unemployed and want to get back to work, work clubs offer useful advice and guidance in job search techniques, interview skills and personal development opportunities not too far from where you live.
Work clubs are really relaxed and friendly, and you’ll have the chance to meet people in a similar situation, so you can share experiences and offer advice to one another.
The clubs are open to everyone and you don’t have to be there every week. Plus, attending won’t affect your benefits, so come along and see what you think.
